The Department is committed to excellence in student preparation, engaging in significant research to expand knowledge of public affairs, and bringing this knowledge to public sector and non-profit leaders and workers within our service region.
We offer a?Master in Public Administration?(MPA) degree, and an undergraduate concentration in public administration as part of a?Bachelor Degree?(BA) in political science. The MPA degree can be earned entirely online or through a combination of online and on-campus classes at UNCP.
We emphasize quality teaching within our programs, striving to produce well-prepared graduates for the public, non-profit, and private sectors. Each faculty member actively engages in scholarship and professional service, bringing both their knowledge and experience into the classroom.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Submit official transcripts of high school and other educational institution completed
- Official transcripts must contain certified translation in English
- Students have to submit official test scores of SAT/ACT
- Submit English Language Proficiency test scores
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum 68 in iBT
- IELTS: minimum 6.0
- Duolingo: minimum 95
