Combined with solid training in communication and writing skills, these competencies include basic understandings of economics, finance, statistics, decision sciences, management and marketing. Beyond these core competencies, students receive training in one of six areas of specialization: General, Advertising, Allied Health Leadership, Economic Development, Financial Administration, and Office Administration.
Your original goal at the community college was an Associate in Applied Science or Applied Art degree and the career opportunities that the AAS or the AAA provided.
Today, that same Applied Associate degree can be your passport to a four-year baccalaureate degree at UNC Pembroke through the Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies (BIS) Degree Program.

Academic Requirements:

- Students have to submit official test scores of SAT/ACT
