The Masters Degree Program in Aeronautics is a one year program that provides advanced training in the areas of aeronautics or aerospace beyond that covered in a four year undergraduate program. Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academics
- Students whose highest qualification is a baccalaureate degree equivalent to that given by the Institute are eligible to seek admission to work toward the master’s degree.
Indian Eligibility:
Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following eligibility criteria:
- Applicants must have a 4-year undergraduate degree with first class in a relevant field from a recognized institution
- Or, they should have completed a master's degree with first-class in a relevant field from a recognized institution.

Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
*It should be noted that the graduate program at GALCIT is primarily focused on Ph.D.-level research and so priority in admission is given to those who plan to ultimately perform Ph.D.-level research
