- If students major in electrical engineering (EE), they can expect to line up a rewarding job well before they step off the graduation stage. EE is the backbone discipline of today’s technological explosion, from the development of microelectronics and robotics, to the embedded computer systems found in household appliances, automobiles, as well as spacecraft and satellite equipment. Increasingly, it is also the source for innovative solutions to challenges in energy and healthcare.
- Thye will have access to two large computing labs as well as six labs specialized for digital and analog circuits, robotics, and networking. While they work in the specialty labs, they won’t be crowded and they will get all the attention they need from your professor—in these labs there are never more than 12 students at a time.
