- Today, practitioners in the field of marketing focus on individual and business consumers as much as the goods and services they are offered. This represents a shift from the more product-centric paradigm of the past and is reflected throughout our Marketing concentration curriculum. The course offerings in Marketing also showcase the richness and depth of this area of study, including:
- Product development, pricing, promotion, launch, and distribution
- Positioning and branding for consumer, business and institutional audiences
- Defining a target market
- Consumer behavior and implications for creating successful strategies
- Applying traditional and digital marketing practices on a global scale.
- The goal of the MBA Program is to combine conceptual approaches to business with practical application in order to give students the needed skills to prepare them for today's global economy. Montclair State graduates are well-rounded, self-motivated and employed in many of the best companies in the region. Equipped with an education built upon standards of excellence, alumni enjoy tremendous opportunities for a rich and rewarding career.
- The School of Business Administration invites applications from persons with baccalaureate or post-baccalaureate degrees. Because we actively seek a diverse student body, all previous academic majors are considered for admission. Both full-and part-time students are welcome. Courses are offered in the late afternoon, evenings and Saturdays.

VISA & Work Study
VISA
- The Form I-20 or DS-2019 is required for a student to apply for the F-1 or J-1 visa stamp at a U.S. embassy or consulate abroad and to request admission into the U.S.
- These forms are issued through the U.S. government’s SEVIS database (Student and Exchange Visitor Information System) and are created by ISSS for study at UNC-CH once a student has been admitted and submitted all other required documents. The Form I-20 or DS-2019 along with the I-94, are the documents that indicate an individual has been lawfully admitted into the U.S. or has been approved for a change of status within the U.S. They document the amount of time it normally takes to complete the course of study to which they have been admitted. Students who have not completed their course of study by the date indicated on Form I-20 or DS-2019 must apply for an extension prior to the current date of expiration. Form I-20 and DS-2019 also indicate a student’s level and field of study so if any of this information changes the form must be amended.
