The Departmental Master's Program is available ONLY to students who wish to obtain a Masters Degree en route to the Doctoral Degree, or in lieu of a terminal doctorate to which they had originally subscribed. Graduate students are attracted to the MSU program in chemistry because of the strength of the research program, the collaborative nature of the faculty, and the beautiful setting of the new research building in a mountain environment.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Applicant must have completed bachelors degree from an accredited university
- Submit official transcripts of all previous education completed
- Applicants must have a GPA of 3.0 or equivalent on a scale of 4.0
- Submit three letters of recommendation
- Submit a personal statement
- Submit your resume
- Submit English Language Proficiency test scores
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum 80 in iBT; 550 in PBT
- IELTS: minimum 6.5
- Duolingo: minimum 120
