Montana State University Billings has two campuses: the university campus and the city college campus. Spread over ninety-two acres and surrounded by eighteen buildings across campus, it houses a gymnasium, a collegiate size swimming pool, and an enclosed running track.

MSUB provides on-campus living facilities for students. The residence halls in Montana State University have Petro and Rimrock residence halls that offer both single and double rooms. Montana State University Billings Programs

Programs at Montana State University Billings include over 130 courses and all of them are regionally accredited. Montana State University Billings Scholarships

MSUB provides financial aid to students in US provided they are eligible. The amount of aid awarded by the university is based on the financial need of the student. Below are the common types of financial aid provided by the university:

Dr. Helen Wilson Graduate Fellowship: Awarded to those graduate students who demonstrate excellent research and creativity in their course of study. The annual scholarship amounts to 1,000 USD.

Yellowstone Scholarship: International students have at least a 2.5 GPA (50% marks) (undergraduate) and a 3.00 GPA = 75% Marks (graduate) are eligible to apply for this scholarship. Selected students will be awarded 1,000 USD per semester.

Global Leadership Scholarship (Undergraduate): It is given to students who have at least 3.00 GPA and either demonstrate financial need or have the ability to promote the internationalization efforts at MSUB.

Work Study Employment: MSUB provides ‘part-time campus employment’ and ‘work study positions’. To be eligible for this, a student must demonstrate academic progress. These employment opportunities pay hourly and are generally between the current Montana minimum wage and a maximum of USD 10/hour and it varies with the type of work and student’s experience

Assistantships and tuition waivers (For graduate students): To be eligible for this aid, the student must have a 3:00 CGP average. Through this, the university recruits and retains academically strong graduate students. The work mostly includes scholarly research and the recruited student has to work a minimum for 19 hours per week.
