Milwaukee School of Engineering Deadlines

MSOE accepts applications on a rolling basis throughout the year and has no specific deadline for admissions. The quarter system is followed in MSOE implying that students can apply for any of the three semesters in every academic year.

Applicants who have taken IB English High Level and have achieved a minimum score of five do not need to give proof of English language proficiency. Students may also take MSOEs partner ESL programs to fulfill the English language proficiency requirements. Those who are very close to fulfilling the English proficiency requirements, can enroll into MSOEs dual admission programs and take for-credit English language courses till the time they are granted full-time admission.

Visa Process for International Students

International students who are accepted into MSOE are required to obtain the I-20 Certificate of Eligibility in order to apply for the F-1 student visa. To get the I-20 Form from MSOE, following documents need to be submitted:

  • Copy of passport
  • Bank statement of the applicant or his sponsor
  • Affidavit of support
  • MSOE Financial Certification stating availability of funds worth one year’s full expenses at MSOE.
  • The required SEVIS fee and the enrolment deposit must be paid.

To get an F-1 student visa, an interview must be scheduled with the US Embassy or Consulate and the following documents must be carried:

  • I-20 Form
  • Acceptance letter to the MSOE
