It is one of only three LMIS programs in the state of Arkansas and is recognized by the American Library Association and the Association of American School Librarians as a degree program.? Candidates pursuing certification in the state of Arkansas must meet the requirements as set forth by the state of Arkansas in order to receive licensure.?
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Applicant should hold a bachelors degree in any relevant field from an accredited institution
- Submit official transcripts of all school and colleges attended
- Official transcripts should be evaluated by an accredited agency
- Applicant must have a minimum of 2.2 GPA for admission consideration
- Submit English Language Proficiency test scores
English Langauge Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum 550 in PBT; minimum 79 in iBT; minimum 210 in CBT
- IELTS: minimum score of 6.0
- PTE: minimum score of 51
- Duolingo: minimum score of 100
