It is one of only three LMIS programs in the state of Arkansas and is recognized by the American Library Association and the Association of American School Librarians as a degree program.? SAU?s LMIS program recently earned a top ten ranking nationally by GraduatePrograms.com.? Candidates pursuing certification in the state of Arkansas must meet the requirements as set forth by the state of Arkansas in order to receive licensure.?
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Applicant should hold a bachelors degree in any relevant field from an accredited institution
- Submit official transcripts of all school and colleges attended
- Official transcripts should be evaluated by an accredited agency
- Applicant must have a minimum of 2.2 GPA for admission consideration
- Submit English Language Proficiency test scores
English Langauge Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum 550 in PBT; minimum 79 in iBT; minimum 210 in CBT
- IELTS: minimum score of 6.0
- PTE: minimum score of 51
- Duolingo: minimum score of 100
