The film and cinematic arts program is actually a specialization of the digital arts and design degree. This means you'll take core requirements that will prepare you to work on multimedia design teams and teach you design essentials.
Outside the classroom, there are a number of?student clubs and activities?to join, including the Photography Club.?Scholarships and grants?are also available for film and cinematic arts majors.
Then, your film and cinematic arts specialization will build on this. You?ll work with current software and video production equipment on projects that mimic real-life experiences. You?ll learn how to create and edit animated and full-motion images, as well as scriptwriting and storyboarding. In the end, you'll have the experience to work in video production or continue your studies in film school or the digital arts?and everything in between.
