Our CIS degree is based on a core?48 credits which includes an internship and/or undergraduate research. Then, you?ll choose a specialization in one of three areas: data science, project management, and software and web development.?
DSU is also home to the Center of Excellence in Information Systems which is an honors program that prepares students to take the lead in the development and application of information technology tools in business, industry, government and education. And even as an CIS undergraduate, you'll be able to take part in real research opportunities. At DSU, you can also make connections and practice your skills in an internship at leading businesses in the state. Due to the high demand for DSU grads, most students find their first job after graduation without ever leaving campus.
