Master of Arts [M.A] [Social Work] From University of Kentucky

The College of Social Work at the University of Kentucky offers an innovative and exciting Masters of Social Work Curriculum based on ethical imperatives, research to practice and sound assessments and interventions. Its aim is to equip Masters of Social Work graduates for the tasks and responsibilities they will encounter in professional Social Work Practice.

Our Masters of Social Work program is open to all undergraduate degrees and may be completed full time or part time, beginning in the fall. The program offers two concentrations: Clinical Social Work and Community and Social Development. In addition, students may complete certificates in School Social Work, Gerontology, and Developmental Disabilities.Students may attend classes on University of Kentucky’s main campus in Lexington, at Morehead State University, or at the University of Kentucky Center for Excellence in Rural Health-Hazard in Southeast Kentucky.
