Visa Process for International Students
International students require an F-1 visa to study in the U.S. The process to apply for a visa is discussed below:
- The University will issue a Certificate of Eligibility of I-20 which is the main form required to obtain a student visa.
- Documents to be submitted for I-20 are as follows:
- Complete I-20 Request Form
- Copy of passport
- Evidence of financial support - International Declaration Finance Form
- Bank statement
- Once the I-20 document is issued it will be sent to the designated address via mail.
- Pay your SEVIS fees and print a copy of the payment receipt.
- Complete an online F-1 visa application.
- Make an appointment with the U.S. Embassy in your home country and carry all the necessary documents such as:
