It emphasizes the study of children and the theories and issues concerned with growth and development in early childhood. This degree will enable a student to qualify to teach in a California community college. Each course in the program is offered both on campus in face-to-face format and online. Courses in both delivery modes are identical in content and rigor and are offered on the semester schedule. Academic Requirements:
- Submit official transcripts of all previous education showing a bachelors degree
- Minimum GPA of 2.75 is preferred with 3.0 GPA in the last 60 hours of Early Childhood or development coursework
- Students with lower GPA need to submit scores of GMAT/GRE
- Submit a personal statement summarizing your professional goals
- Submit your current resume
- Submit two letters of recommendation
- Submit English Language Proficiency test scores
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum 80 in iBT; minimum 550 in PBT
- IELTS: minimum score of 6.5
- Duolingo: minimum score of 105
