- The mission of the Department of Construction Management at Kennesaw State University is to develop students for professional construction leadership positions, with a sense of ethical and environmental responsibility, as well as prepare them for advanced degree programs.
- Kennesaw’s programs are modeled to reflect the organization of the construction industry by offering concentrations in Land Development, General Contracting, Specialty Construction (Electrical & Mechanical), Heavy Construction, Facilities Management and Residential Construction. This organization not only covers the different facets of the construction industry but also encompasses the entire life cycle of buildings and facilities.
- Kennesaw endeavors to exceed the accreditation (ABET, ACCE, IFMA) standards for BS and MS programs to not only stay competitive but remain a leader among institutions offering one or more similar degrees or concentrations.
- Through professional development activities of the Construction Management faculty, Kennesaw ensures that the quality of instruction and related technologies stays current on innovations that continuously reshape the construction industry. All Construction Management tenure-track faculty members publish in peer-reviewed publications and participate in regional, national, and international conferences related to their field of specialization.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Construction Management, Construction Technology, Architecture, Management, or a related degree from an accredited college or university.
- Official copy of scores on the Graduate Record Exam "General Test"; or the GMAT
- Official transcript from each college the applicant has attended. Official Evaluation of all foreign transcripts is required.
- An undergraduate GPA of 2.75 or better on a 4.00 scale
- International students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
