Students in this interdisciplinary program will also develop their analytical and communication skills. Social sciences graduates will be prepared to enter a variety of graduate or professional programs and to succeed in such careers as business, education, government, information management, and law.
The Social Sciences major is designed for students who do not choose to specialize in any of the other majors offered in the Division of Social Sciences. Thus, the Social Sciences major may not be earned in conjunction with any of the other majors offered in the Division of Social Sciences.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Submit official transcripts of high school or secondary school and other education completed
- Official transcripts must be evaluated by a NACES accredited agency
- Submitting SAT/ACT score is optional
- Applicants may submit letter of recommendation
- Submit an essay
- Submit English Language Proficiency test scores
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum score of 79
- IELTS: minimum score of 6.0
- PTE: minimum score of 56
- Duolingo: minimum score of 105
