Jacksonville University's International Business program brings together a solid foundation in business skills, a global perspective, and a language specialization. Armed with this degree, you'll find (literally!) a world of options for your future.

This major builds on the basic business curriculum by adding global perspectives in economics, finance, marketing, government and politics. In each course, JU faculty bring their own international experiences in teaching, working and studying to life in the classroom. The International Business major is the only small school AACSB-accredited program in North Florida and South Georgia. Several students have worked with faculty on independent research projects. As an international business major, you can customize the program to fit your geographic area of interest.

Students in the International Business Major tend to complete one or more study abroad and cultural immersion experiences during their time at Jacksonville University .

It is strongly recommended that students majoring in international business also major in marketing or economics or finance, or that they minor in one or more of these areas. The international business curriculum allows for flexibility to partner with other complimentary majors and minors.

Language courses in French, German and Spanish are available and are highly encouraged for International Business majors at Jacksonville University.

Academic Requirements:

  • Submit official transcripts of  high school or secondary school and other education completed
  • Official transcripts must be evaluated by a NACES accredited agency
  • Submitting SAT/ACT score is optional
  • Applicants may submit letter of recommendation 
  • Submit an essay
  • Submit English Language Proficiency test scores
