Cornell claims the median salary is $85k but this depends on the demographic in which you are offered a job. $85k in Middle west is a good amount but is peanuts in California. All forms of companies come on campus including domains like consulting, product management, project management, supply chain etc.

Internship

No, I received the co-op during my Bachelor’s and the stipend was $20/hr. I got the job from my career fair where you talk to recruiters one-to-one. I worked as a software & controls intern in Diversified Automation Inc. where I worked for UPS, Amazon, and FedEx. 2 semesters students cannot get the paid internship due to visa legalities. If you want to do.summer internship, opt for a 3-semester program.

It is great. Depends on the individual as well. In the US the college brand name is not a big fuss like in India. There are numerous research opportunities as well. They can be intra-department as well. Research depends on how well can you find an advisor to fund your research and how you convince the admission committee about your research prowess.

I can't comment on this yet, since I've just started my program. However, I've heard great things. Lots of Cornell PhDs get amazing post-doctoral and/or faculty offers. If one wants to apply to the industry or national labs, there are tons of opportunities too, especially in applied physics.

Internship

I haven't applied for any internship, although I have applied for a few external fellowships. One is the National Defense Science and Engineering Graduate Fellowship (NDSEG). This is provided by the US Department of Defense (DoD) and they pay a stipend of 3200$ per month and your tuition plus health insurance. To apply you have to write a 3-page research proposal and a 500-word personal statement. Your graduate advisor typically will help you through this process. Keep in mind only US citizens can apply.

Very good and excellent. People expect to do very well when they graduate. Graduates are among the highest paid and people do very well. I know many young graduates and they are enjoying how Cornell prepared them.

Internship

Yes, there is a credit internship program however I haven't done that. I've done other things that are very interesting, yet I didn't use the Cornell University resources to obtain these internship opportunities.
