Financial accounting focuses on the reporting of an organization's financial information, including the preparation of financial statements, to external users of the information, such as investors, regulators and suppliers; and management accounting focuses on the measurement, analysis and reporting of information for internal use by management. Another part of accounting involves compliance with government regulations pertaining to income tax reporting.
For Whom is this Program Designed?
- This program is designed for professionals who want to pursue a career in accounting in private or public sector. Accounting careers vary widely in today's complex, global economy. Graduates may find themselves tracking illegal funds for the FBI to preparing financial statements for multi-billion dollar firms. Generally, accounting career paths can be described as financial reporting, assurance, budget analysis, management accounting, tax accounting, and federal contract accounting. Accountants may work for public accounting firms, public or private corporations, governments at all levels, or for themselves in private practice.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Applicants must have a bachelors degree from an accredited university
- Submit official transcripts of all previous educational institution attended
- Official transcripts must be evaluated by an accredited agency like WES, SpanTran etc
- Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 or equivalent
- Submit official scores of GMAT (500 minimum) /GRE (minimum 300 in verbal and quantitative and 3.0 in analytical writing)
- Submit your resume
- Submit English Language Proficiency test scores
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum 18 in each subscore in iBT; 8 in each subscore of Essentials
- IELTS: minimum 6.0 in each subscore
- PTE: minimum 54
- Duolingo: minimum 105
