NKU?s school-embedded MAT program, launching in summer of 2018, offers you the opportunity to become a certified teacher in your content area at the middle grades or high school level. In one year of course and field work embedded in a local school, you will learn to build relationships with your students; develop high-quality, engaging lessons that meet the needs of your learners; and develop the tools to reflect on and refine your teaching practice.

NKU's campus-based MAT program, next cohort launching in fall of 2019, combines thoughtful placements in area classrooms, excellent courses taught by knowledgeable faculty, a manageable two-year schedule that includes in-person and online courses, and the option to be employed as a teacher while still a student.
