This Majors Abroad Program (MAP) leads students to a Bachelor of Arts in French Studies with its interdisciplinary focus on politics, history, international relations, as well as French language and culture, and its requirement of two semesters of study in France. The major provides in-depth study of France and its civilization. Studying at the American Graduate School of International Relations and Diplomacy, Arcadia’s affiliated program in Paris, provides a unique exposure to international affairs, and taking courses at the Alliance Française allows students to immerse themselves in French language and culture.

International business, art, fashion, design, education, and government are just a few of the directions French Studies graduates have guided their careers, secured by their understanding and appreciation of France, its people, and its place in the world.
