Successful completion of the 72 credit major enables the graduate to meet the initial licensure requirements of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
The required courses are designed to provide the individual with minimum technical competencies necessary to teach technology education at the public school level. Basic fundamental processes and safety techniques are presented. Additional technical electives enhance expertise in the Technology/Engineering field. Lastly, the professional sequence provides the students with a combination of theoretical and practical experiences in educational pedagogy.
