Mechanical engineering students master the fundamental principles of mathematics, chemistry, and physics as a foundation for study in the three core areas of mechanical engineering: solid mechanics and materials, thermal and fluid, dynamics and controls.
The ABET-accredited Bachelor of Science degree program in Engineering Physics - Mechanical Engineering prepares students for productive careers in mechanical engineering and related disciplines. Guided by a dedicated faculty and staff, students learn through hands-on experience featuring small classes, modern computers, excellent lab facilities and the opportunity to participate in undergraduate research.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Submit official transcripts of high school and other education completed
- Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.7 or equivalent if they are not submitting SAT/ACT
- Submit SAT/ACT scores if you have GPA less than 2.70
- Submit English Language Proficiency test scores
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum 61 in ibt; 500 in PBT; 213 in CBT
- IELTS: minimum 5.5
- Duolingo: minimum 85
- PTE: minimum 42
