The university is internationally renowned for its research facilities and its support services. Our placement rate for PhDs is strong: 90 percent of our graduates in 2004-2007 found employment. That's up from 69 percent ten years ago--a remarkable feat given a very competitive job market.
The Department of History is committed to a tradition of academic excellence. Our large and distinguished faculty provides a notable diversity of historical fields for M.A. and Ph.D. students. Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirement:
- A bachelor degree or professional degree from an accredited university or college
- Official transcripts of the previous education
- A minimum of 3.0 GPA on a scale of 4.0 in the last degree earned
- Statement of Intent
- Three letters of recommendation
- CV
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: 79 on IBT; 550 on PBT
- IELTS: 7.0
