- The Masters of Bioengineering (M.S.) is a 30 credit-hour thesis program designed to prepare students to conduct research and/or pursue a doctoral degree in bioengineering.
- The degree can be completed in as little as 16 months, with at least one semester in residence at Clemson University's main campus.
- Students pursuing the Master of Science in Bioengineering complete a set of 3 core courses before selecting coursework based on one of five emphasis areas including:
- Biomaterials engineering,
- Regenerative medicine,
- Bioelectrical engineering,
- Biomechanical engineering,

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Students must hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent degree in a related subject from a recognized university.
Indian Eligibility:
Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following eligibility criteria:
- Students must complete a 4-year undergraduate degree with first class in a relevant field from a recognized institution
- Or, students completed a master's degree with first-class in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
GRE score is not required for taking admission to this program.
