- The Master of Science in Environmental Management and Sustainability Program (EMS) is designed to provide students who have backgrounds in engineering and other STEM fields with real-world skills, training, and knowledge that will prepare them to address those challenges.
- With an applied approach and a curriculum that integrates business, science, and law, the program emphasizes how to use technological innovation and entrepreneurial activity to develop effective environmental management and sustainability systems.
- Courses examine the interaction between economic growth and the environment, including how to apply environmental-economic models, the implications of environmental externalities, and pollution prevention and control strategies and policies in the areas of solid waste, water and wastewater, and air pollution.
