Engineering! The college of engineering is one of the highest ranked in the country. Additionally, I have always wanted to be in the north for college to experience true seasons. I also was recruited for athletics.
Course Curriculum
I think it?s manageable! I would say that the amount I am writing right now is not ideal. As an engineer, I don't really enjoy writing unless it's technical. I am currently in two classes that require me to do non-technical writing.
Exams
In SAT, I got a 1290 total, 730 math and 530 on reading and in ACT, I got a 30 average and a 35 on math and can?t remember the other
Internship
They have a co-op, I haven't been on one yet. The experience seems amazing though and I can?t wait to do my first one at the Boston Museum of Science and eventually do one at Walt Disney World or a toy company.
Fees
The fees are pretty high. Tuition, to begin with, is a lot, so the fees on top of it really result in a high cost, but it's completely worth it. I would say I'm living the experience.
Examination Structure
It's pretty standard. Usually 2 midterms and a final with the final weighted as more than the midterms and homework every few weeks. I really enjoy knowing when the exams will be in advance and what the format will be.
Faculty
I love them! They all have great office hours. My favorite was my intro to engineering teacher who really instilled a love for the major for myself and my classmates
