Diverse community, great business school, awesome faculty. This campus gave me an opportunity to be in the honors program which is amazing and is based on good gpa. It has great metworking opportunities as well.
Course Curriculum :
It is great. Students can take classes they want in a particular semester. The advisors tell all the classes they need us to take and then it is upon us how many and which classes to take each semester.
Exams :
I took just IELTS. My band score was 8. I also took some exams after coming here - one for math placement, one for English placement.
Placement :
Csus is related to great firms who come and do on campus receuitment. Big firms like the big 4 are associated with campus for student recruitment. All good companies like apple, intel, deloitte, tesla come on campus during career fairs.
Internship :
It does. College of Business had internship program. I haven't yet gone into that. But they are helpful in Finding internships by setting up career fairs and networking events. They called in more than 50 employers for the networking fair this semester.
Events :
There are a lot of events that happen on campus. They are welcoming events, homecoming events, music and dance parties, hill climb events, teaching how to make food. In my college, we have dead week event, in which they serve food to business students during finals.
Fees :
The fee is fixed for residents. 12 units and then one can take more units but the fee is the same. For non-residents, it is fixed per unit. My fee is around $9000 as it includes insurance and gym and nonstate student tuition.
Scholarship :
Yes. I have received scholarships. There are scholarships from the College of business, from CSUS, community scholarships, ASI scholarships.
Examination Structure :
Easy. Although it depends on the faculty. Some professors do written exams, some do multiple choice questions. There are some professors who have online exams as well. The exam material is mostly from what is taught in class.
Faculty :
Faculty is great. I work with accounting faculty on research papers. They are helpful in finding internships too. Great mentors. Sometimes I received help from them on my resume too.
Hostel :
I live off campus in apartments. But our campus has great on-campus hostels too. There are many apartments near the college. Students share one apartment. We are 4 people sharing a 2 bedroom apartment.
