The University of North Carolina School of the Arts is located in the charming city of Winston-Salem, North Carolina in a campus of 78 acres. It is the City of Arts and Innovation, offering a variety of things to do and places to explore.

  • The Stevens Center in downtown Winston-Salem is a theatre with the capacity of 1,300-seat. It is an integral part of UNCSA’s campus and many performances by the institution are organized there.
  • A fitness centre of 20,600 sq. ft. state-of-the-art facility with a full size gymnasium, a 4,200 sq. ft. weight area, an Aerobics studio, and an exclusive Abs/Stretching area.
  • ACE main theatre holds three large motion picture theatres. Two of the theatres have 91 seats and the Main Theatre holds 296 seats. It has the capacity to exhibit all formats of films and videos.
  • Opened in 2015, the UNCSA Library and Learning Commons houses extensive collections in the performing and visual arts, including drama, dance, music, filmmaking, design and production. The library also provides core materials in history, literature, and all other liberal arts fields.
  • Hanes Students Commons is a hub for getting meals, eating or meeting up with friends. It contains three on-campus food options.
  • Dunigan Sculpture Studio offers sun-drench workspaces and is equipped with several tools to create 3-D models of various mediums such as pottery, ceramics, wood, metal, plastics and other items.
