Being a certified professional is important in this field, and your coursework in the exercise science program will help you earn the certification you need. Classes you take contribute to the requirements for two types of certification:

  • Certified Clinical Exercise Physiologist from the American College of Sport Medicine (ACSM), the largest sports medicine and exercise science organization in the world.
  • Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist from the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), the world's leading organization for athletic conditioning coaches and personal training professionals.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Requirements:

  • Submit official transcripts of high school and other universities attended
  • Applicants must have completed following courses: 4 units of English; 2 units of foreign languages; 2 units of lab science; 3 units of Mathematics; 3 units of Social Science
  • One letter of recommendation from teacher or counselor
  • Submit a personal essay within 500 words
  • Submit English Language Proficiency test scores

English Language Requirements:

  • TOEFL; minimum 80 in ibt
  • IELTS: minimum 6.5
  • Duolingo: minimum 100
