Advanced courses take your language skills to the next level through the study of literature, theatre, film, and culture. Classroom discussion and interactive work in the Language Learning Center build on your strong foundation.?Volunteer work is available in the local Latino community tutoring children learning English, or helping students in a local high school to strengthen their language skills.

Demonstrate your knowledge of the literature and culture of early and contemporary Spain and Latin America with the senior comprehensive. In the oral exam professors evaluate your answers both for linguistic accuracy and content. For the essay portion of the senior comprehensive exam you focus on two areas of your choice.
