Bachelor of Arts [B.A] [Communication] From Brooklyn College

In our speech science program, you will be taught to recognize, evaluate and rehabilitate difficulties with speech and hearing. Through course work, you'll become familiar with theories of language development. You'll also learn about the anatomy, physiology and neurology that make speech and hearing possible. Through clinical work and internships, you'll work with people of all ages in many different kinds of careers that require expert communication skills, in settings ranging from schools and hospitals to private practice.
