The LPN-BSN track is offered via a combination of traditional on-campus and online course delivery. The RN-BSN track is offered in a fully online format. The BSN student will develop and expand knowledge and skills delineated by the professional nurse roles of provider of care, designer/manager/coordinator of care, and member of the profession. Students participate in selected learning activities to develop an understanding of the art and science of nursing. The program provides an educational foundation for continued nursing study at the graduate level. Graduates of the basic track are eligible to take the National Council Licensure Exam for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN).
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Submit official transcripts that show high school completion or equivalent
- Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.0 or equivalent for admissions consideration
- Some applicants will have to provide a course by course evaluation of the transcripts by an evaluation agency like WES
- SAT/ACT score is optional
- Submit English Language Proficiency test scores
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum 61 in iBT; 500 in PBT
- IELTS: minimum 5.5 with 5.0 in each band
- PTE: minimum 44
- Duolingo: minimum 90
- SAT: minimum 450 in evidence based reading and writing
- ACT: minimum 18 in English
