COVID-19 Updates

  • Considering the present COVID-19 situation, the classes are scheduled as in-person, hybrid and online classes for those who will not be able to be on campus in the fall.
  • For the academic year 2023-2024, the college has adopted a test-optional policy.
  • As per this policy, there is no need to submit an ACT, SAT or CLT score alongside your application for admission.
  • When considering merit-based scholarships, the college still requires standardized test scores.

Hope College International Admission

English Proficiency test scores for International Students

If you are not a native English speaker, then you need to submit your English language test scores as proof for your proficiency in the language. The minimum scores required for various tests are given below:

Visa Process for International Students

All international students must submit the Hope College I-20 or DS-2019 Request Form with all supporting documents to get their I-20 form. This I-20 form is necessary when you are applying for a US student visa.

Overview:

The atmosphere and the community offered. I wanted a place that would feel like a second home and help me grow and develop as an individual. This schools location was also ideal because it is located in downtown Holland.

Scholarship:

I received one academic scholarship (the presidential scholarship). I did not qualify for any farther state or federal aid.
