SXUK BA {Hons.} Psychology: Fees 2025, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

The Psychology Department features approachable faculty, with Dr. Soma Pramanik, Dr. Jhilly Das (Tewary), and Dr. Moumita Mukherjee noted for empathy and clear teaching. The course includes two main assessments: a Continuous Internal Assessment scaled to 10 marks and an End Semester Examination worth 80 marks, plus 20 marks for presentations and discipline. From the fifth semester, students can participate in campus placements with companies like Deloitte, PWC, KPMG, and more. Postgraduate students must complete internships with leading organizations such as Balmer Lawrie and Tata Hospital. Currently, there are no internships for the three-year undergraduate course, but they are planned for the new four-year degree. The BA Psychology (Hons) four-year course has a total semester fee of ₹58,000, covering tuition, development, examinations, library, and sports activities. Other courses like B.Com (Hons) and BA Economics (Hons) share this fee structure, except BA Mass Comm (Hons), which costs ₹66,700 per semester. Scholarships include the Loyola Scholarship, offering a 100% fee waiver for families earning ² ₹3,60,000, the Britto Scholarship with a 50% waiver for incomes ² ₹4,20,000, and the Rupa Scholarship for postgraduates, also offering a full waiver.
