MA (Education) B.Ed. with at least 50% marks( General Category)/ 47.5% (SC/ST candidates) in aggregate.

Indira Gandhi University MA Selection Process

The selection of candidates in MA courses will be on the basis of Entrance exam or Academic Merit.

  • Academic Merit: Admission to MA (Yoga, Education, and Sanskrit) is based on academic merit.
  • Entrance Exam: Selection of candidates for certain postgraduate programs such as MA (Hindi, English, Public Administration, Sociology, Political Science, Economics, History, Journalism & Mass Communication) is based on the entrance exam conducted by Indira Gandhi University.

The entrance exam will be of 1 and ½ hour with 100 Multiple choice questions. Every correct answer will be awarded one mark. 0.25 mark is deducted for every wrong answer. Question will be of the level of the qualifying examination.
