PRSU Prayagraj B.Sc admission 2023 is open now. The last date to apply is June 20, 2023. Interested candidates can apply online on the official website – prsuprayagraj.in. Admissions will be based on merit followed by counselling conducted by the university. B.Sc (Ag.) Honours and B.Sc. Biotech admissions will be conducted through a common entrance test conducted by the university. The entrance exam will be conducted on June 10, 2023.

PRSU Prayagraj B.Sc Admission Guidelines

Admission to B.Sc at PRSU Prayagraj or Allahabad State University is based on merit (marks secured in the qualifying examination). B.Sc (Ag.) Honours and B.Sc. Biotech admissions will be conducted through a common entrance test conducted by the university. The final selection is done a counselling process conducted by the university.

Reservation Policy: -

1. The university offers 5% Disability reservation seats for disabled candidates.
2. SC/ST/OBC/PH/EWs candidates get admission in the university under the reserved quota as prescribed by the Central Government/ State Government/ Union Territory.

PRSU Prayagraj B.Sc Application Process

Students must before register through the official website. The steps to apply for the University are as follows: -

1. Visit the official website of the University. 
2. Click on the ‘Admission’ tab on the menu bar.
3. Select the ‘Apply Online’ option from the Admission tab.
4. Click on ‘New User’ and register with valid contact details and email Id, then create a new account.
5. After AU login credentials click on the first link (LINK 1) using the registered account to fill in the application form.
6. Fill in the form with valid and accurate details upload scanned documents as well.
7. Verify and then submit the form after making the payment of your application fees.

PRSU Prayagraj B.Sc Course Details

The main aim of the 3 years duration B.Sc. program is to prepare students in various specializations as offered by the University in both practical and theory so that they can use their education in meeting cultural and other challenges to our nation-building and also affecting the standard of living in urban and rural areas through teaching, learning, advanced research, and other activities. 

The entire 3 years B.Sc program is divided into 6 semesters which include internal assessments, practical exams, and core examinations. Along with core subjects the students also have English as a qualifying paper in which they must possess a minimum of 45% as passing marks.

Minimum passing marks for students in each core paper are 50% in both Theory and Practical separately.

On completion of internships, an internal assessment out of 100 marks is sent to the University for inclusion in the mark sheet. Final Year examination results are out once students complete the needed attendance for practical and internships.

The placement and job opportunities ratios of the University are quite good. Students while pursuing B.Sc in different specializations have compulsory internships in 3rd year of the program. The University actively organizes internship programs to build confidence and the ability to attain great jobs in students.
