Generally, everyone thinks that medical college life is all about studies but that's not the reality.Infact you are going to have the most amazing time of your life in medical college. Yes, there are fests in medical colleges, in our college we have MRIDANG which occur every year in winters probably in december/January. Librays are best when it comes to study. You will find every book there Obviously, we have a huge campus with a cricket ground, football ground, volleyball ground, basketball court and a sports complex in which badminton court, TT, chess, carrom everything is there.
The hostel is pretty good, we have separate bathrooms for every 3 students, but they are not cleaned regularly. All floors have adequate tube lights which are not working. We have WiFi in our hostels for only 2 batches, and guess what both the batches are extreme ones of 1st year and 3rd year. The students of 2nd year can't use Wi-Fi. Meal quality is not as good as it should be and hygiene is very very poor, last year about 10-14 students got disease due to unhygienic food and water. The mess workers themselves say that where they worked earlier, was much better than this mess.
The hostel has a mess. 3 students per room, rooms are large enough, wardrobe and table chair and bed provided. A balcony and a big window are there. You'll get a hostel while admission. It's quite a safe and common washroom. The Rent is 12000.
The college offers hostel accommodations primarily in two-seater rooms, although some single rooms are available. These rooms come equipped with essential furniture, including a bed, chair, table, and almirah, providing students with a comfortable living space. However, it's important to note that students are required to adhere to college regulations when it comes to installing appliances like coolers or AC units in their rooms. In terms of dining, the hostel mess serves meals ranging from average to good quality. The menu includes both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options on selected days, catering to a variety of dietary preferences. This provision ensures that students have access to nutritious and satisfying meals without having to venture far from their accommodations. Additionally, students have the flexibility to bring some of their personal appliances, such as irons, into the hostel rooms, subject to college guidelines. This allows for a degree of personalization.
