Neotia University BTech admissions are based on WBJEE Score/ JEE Main Score. The application process for WBJEE has commenced on December 28, 2023. The last date for the WBJEE registration 2024 is on January 31, 2024. Candidates can register for the WBJEE 2024 at wbjeeb.nic.in. WBJEE Exam Date 2024 is April 28, 2024.

The Neotia University (TNU) is a private university established in the year 2015. At present, the university is offering B.Tech, B.Sc, B.Sc (Hons.) BBA (Hons.), M.Sc., MHM, and many other programs. In addition to this, the university also offers Integrated programs like BA+LLB, BBA+LLB. The Neotia University (TNU) also offers Lateral Entry mode for the courses. 10+2 with PCM as the main subject with at least 60% marks in aggregate is the minimum eligibility criteria for admission to B.Tech courses.
Admission to all UG courses along with B.Tech is offered based on candidates’ scores in the TNU Entrance Test (Test 1 and Test 2).
WBJEE or JEE Main qualified candidates can also apply for admission to the B.Tech program.
B.Sc or Diploma in the relevant discipline is required to secure admission to B.Tech (Lateral Entry) program.
For PG and some UG courses, the admission is merit-based followed by an interview conducted by the university.

The Neotia University B.Tech Admission 2023

TNU offers B.Tech program in various specializations. 10+2 (PCM) with at least 60% marks is the minimum requirement for admission.

Admission is offered on the basis of score on the TNU Aptitude Test conducted by the university followed by counseling. For admission to the B.Tech in Marine Engineering, A valid passport and approved medical tests are required along with academic transcripts.

The Neotia University Entrance Exam 2023

Candidates need to appear for the Online or Offline TNU entrance test to secure admission to UG courses. TNU online entrance can be taken anywhere anytime while offline TNU entrance is only a center-based test. TNU’s Entrance Test is for a duration of 30 mins and consists of objective-type questions. Only the UG students have to give the TNU’s NEO Admission Test.

For the Online test, a link will be sent to you through your registered e-mail ID (provided at the time of registration). For an offline test, the test can be taken by reaching any of the below-listed centers:

The Neotia University PG Admission 2023: M.Tech, M.Sc & MHM

At the postgraduate level, Neotia University offers M.Tech, M.Sc, and MHM programs in different streams in full-time mode. BE/ B.Tech with 50% marks is the desired eligibility criteria for M.Tech while a Bachelor’s degree in the cognate discipline is sufficient for M.Sc and MHM courses. Admission to all the PG courses is offered on the basis of an interview round conducted by the university for the shortlisted candidates.

How to Apply for The Neotia University?

Visit the website (www.tnu.in) and go to “Online Registration”
A Registration Form will open with 3 options: Undergraduate Courses, Postgraduate Courses & PhD Courses
Click on the desired option and the registration window will open
Fill up the Registration Form with Mobile Verification with instant OTP and click on the register button.
An email with a link will automatically be sent to the verified mail id along with log in & password
By clicking the link in the mail the student will reach his / her “Dashboard” (automatically email verification will be done)
From the Dashboard, a student can fill up the Application / Admission Form and upload the required documents
Once the Form is filled up and submitted the Form, an Application Number will generate automatically for the student that he/she can use for all future references.
Once the Application Form is submitted successfully and the unique Application Number is generated, the student can make an online payment of INR 20,000 for Provisional Admission

Note: For B.A(Hons.) in Mass Communication, B.Com.(Hons.) with Spl. in Taxation & E-Accounting, B.Sc. (Hons.) in Applied Psychology, and All Post Graduate Courses, the provisional admission fee is INR 10,000.

Ques. What is the provisional admission fee for B.Pharm, BMLT & B.Sc Radiology & Medical Imaging Technology courses?

Ans. An amount of INR 46,000 to be deposited against Provisional Admission for B.Pharm, BMLT & B.Sc. Radiology & Medical Imaging Technology courses.

Ques. What documents are required for provisional admission at TNU?

Ans. Candidates need to submit/upload the following documents for Provisional Admission at TNU:

Admit Card & Mark sheet- 10th Std
Admit Card of Board Exam- 12th Std. (if available)
One passport size photograph
Adhaar Card

Ques. What should I do if I don’t take admission after applying for provisional admission at TNU?

Ans. In case, a student does not take Final Admission for any reason whatsoever, they can apply for a ‘Refund’ of Provisional Admission amount any time after discussion with the Academic Advisor. The student needs to apply / mail with a proper application to The Admission Head in the mail id: cancellation@tnu.in, at The Neotia University along with (a) Bank Account Details or a Cancelled cheque of the student/parent (b) a Soft copy of the Provisional Admission money receipt / Payment Acknowledgement. The processing will be done within 60 days after the last date of admission for the Academic Session of 2022-23. The full amount of the provisional admission fee will be refunded to the student without interest.

Ques. What is the process to avail hostel and transportation at TNU?

Ans. Hostel & Transportation facilities are limited and will be provided to the students on a ‘First Come First Serve’ basis till seats are available. All payments to be made by the students for Hostel / Transportation Facilities through CRM dashboard / Website Gateways / Cheque / Demand Draft / RTGS /NEFT / Online Transfer / Payment Apps in the name of “The Neotia University”–payable at Kolkata. Hostel / Transportation Fee to be paid at the time of admission or at least 21 days before availing of these facilities, whichever is earlier. Once paid, these fees are non-refundable except for Security Deposit (for Hostel). Bus transportation facilities for day scholars are available only in the selected routes.
