Chaudhary Ranbir Singh University, commonly referred to as CRSU, was established in 2014 in Haryana. CRSU is a State University and has been approved by UGC. The institute previously went by the name Kurukshetra University Post Graduate Regional Centre. The courses offered include M.A, M.Sc, M.Com, MBA, MCA, M.P.Ed, B.P.Ed, and PG Diploma.
- Admissions to M.A, M.Sc, M.Com, and MCA are merit-based.
- Admissions to MBA is based on MAT scores. Additionally, a GD and Interview will also be conducted.
- For B.P.Ed and M.P.Ed degree, candidates shall be selected based on the merit list of qualifying exam followed by a Physical Efficiency Test (PET).
CRSU provides various scholarships to its students based on the merit cum means, a single girl child. The institute also has an excellent placement cell. For the MBA course, the university guarantees 100% placement, while for MCA, it has a 60% placement rate.

CRSU Jind Application Process 2023
Follow the steps mentioned below to apply:
- Visit the online official website of the university.
- Under the “Notices” column, click on the banner stating “Online Application for Admission / Enrollment”.
- On the new webpage, click on “APPLY NOW”.
- Click on the “New Registration” Button.
- Fill in all the details and click on “Click here for Disclaimer”. Then click on Agree > Register.
- After Successful Registration, a Unique Username and OTP will be sent to your phone. Log in using the same and reset the password.
- Start filling the application form by clicking on each of the boxes above: Personal, Address, Education, Reservation, Photo Sign, and Contact.
- On successful completion of all the details, an “Apply Online” button will become visible. Click on it.
- Fill in the form.
- Click on Save and Proceed after every stage.
- Upload the photograph and the signature, and click Proceed.
- Click “Confirm Profile Details”. After confirmation you will not be able to modify any part of the profile.
- You will be directed to the course page. You can apply for multiple courses through the same registration. Type in the course name and click “Apply”.
- Click Submit when all desired courses are selected.
- Choose the fee category and click submit.
- Click the money icon to make the payment. Pay the application fee.
- The application fee is INR 500 for general candidates and INR 250 for candidates from reserved categories.
- The application fee must be submitted through online payment modes or by e challan. This fee is non- refundable.
- Take a print out of the application form.

CRSU Jind Scholarship
The institute provides several scholarships to its students on a meritorious basis. The criteria for the same is as mentioned below.
- The students obtaining marks between 70 to 75% will receive INR 8000 on a monthly basis.
- Students achieving 76 to 80% will receive INR 10000 on a monthly basis.
- PWD Schemes are provided for handicapped girls.

Ans. Yes, there is a hostel facility for girl students, under the name Laxmi Bai Girls Hostel. The hostels are well maintained and clean. The rooms are well-furnished, and there are 24/7 power and water supply. The food provided by the hostel to its students is also of good quality and hygiene.
