Ajeenkya DY Patil University (ADYPU) Admission 2024: Application Form, Dates, Courses, Fees, Eligibility, Selection Process

Ajeenkya DY Patil University offers B.Sc., B.Tech, BCA, B. Com (Honours), BBA, BHM, B.Des., Integrated LLB, and LLB degree courses at the undergraduate level.

To apply for B.Tech. courses, applicants must have passed or appeared in Class XII with Physics, Mathematics and English as compulsory subjects with a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Mathematics and any one of the optional subject.

Candidates must have passed or appeared in Class XII with Arts/Science/Commerce stream with minimum 45% marks in aggregate to be eligible for other courses. For the LLB program, candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in any subject with at least 50% marks.

Aspirants are admitted to B.Tech courses is done on the basis of marks scored in ACET followed by personal interview. Students are admitted to BCA and BHM courses on the basis of marks secured in the Class XII and Personal Interview.

Admissions to BBA, B.Sc. and Law courses are done on the basis of marks in ACET and Personal Interview.

Key Points for Undergraduate Admissions:

• For BBA, BHM, and LLB courses, candidates must have English as a compulsory subject in 10+2.
• Candidates applying for the BCA degree course must have Mathematics as one of the subjects in Class XII.
• Those holding a 3 years Diploma are also eligible to apply for BHM and B.Des. courses.
• Students who have appeared for their Class XII final examination and waiting for the result are also eligible to apply, subject to the submission of passing certificate at the time of the final admission.

Ajeenkya DY Patil University offers M.Tech, MBA, M.Des, LLM and PGDP degree courses at the postgraduate level.

To apply for M.Tech. courses, applicants must have passed Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Mathematics and any one of the optional subject.

For MBA, candidates must have passed the Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks. For the LLM program, candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in any subject with at least 50% marks.

For M.Arch, Candidates must have passed the Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks. Admission is done on the basis of marks obtained in GATE + MAH M.Arch CET.

Aspirants are admitted to M.Tech course is done on the basis of marks scored in ACET followed by a Personal Interview.

Candidates applying for M.Des must have passed Graduation with a minimum of 45% aggregate marks. For PGDP, the candidates must have passed Graduation in any discipline.

Admissions to M.Des is done on the basis of ACET for Design School, Campus Studio Test followed by Personal Interview and PGDP course is done on the basis of marks Personal Interview.

Ajeenkya DY Patil University offers a Ph.D. program under the discipline of Engineering, Architecture, Design, Business Administration. The candidates who have passed Master’s degree with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks are eligible to apply.

Admissions to Ph.D. is done on the basis of a valid score obtained in Ph.D. Entrance Test (PET).

Ph.D Admission Process

• ADYPU shall admit Ph.D. students through an ADYPU Ph.D. Entrance Test will be conducted once a year.
• Applicants who have qualified UGC-NET (including JRF)/ UGC-CSIR NET (including JRF)/ GATE/ lectureship or have passed M.Phil. program will be exempt from appearing in the ADYPU Ph.D. Entrance Test.
• ADYPU will notify and communicate well in advance all relevant information regarding the Ph.D. Program on its website and through advertisement in at least two newspapers, of which at least one shall be in the regional language.
• The list of all the Ph.D. registered students will be uploaded on its website on a year-wise basis. The list includes the name of the registered candidate, the topic of his/her research, name of his/her supervisor/co-supervisor, date of enrolment/registration.

Note(s):

• Candidates qualified in UGC-NET (including JM) AJGC-CSIRNET (including JRF)/ SLET/ GATE (valid score) or teacher fellowship holders will be exempted from the Entrance Test for the Ph.D. program.
• Candidates who have passed M. Phil. Program of any other university will be exempted from the Entrance Test for the Ph.D. program.
