Need-Based Financial Assistance (NBFA)

The NBFA schemes are provided by the institute itself, i.e. IIM Sambalpur. The scholarships tend to provide financial support to meritorious students based on their academic performance and family income range. The amount of need based scholarships is provided in the form of tuition fee waiver. The details are as mentioned below:-

Scholarships for Top Class Education of Students with Disabilities (SwDs)

Scholarships for Top Class Education for Students with Disabilities is initiated by the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Government of India. This scholarship provides financial support to students pursuing studies at UG / PG / Diploma level.

Eligibility

Students must be pursuing studies at UG / PG / Diploma level in notified institutions of excellence in education and having more than 40% disability + a valid certificate for the same. Students should have an annual family income of less than INR 6 lakh from all sources.

Top Class Education Scheme for SC Students

Scholarships are offered by the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India, to SC students. It is provided based on their annual parental income for the previous financial year. The maximum income limit is INR 8,00,000/-.

Scholarships are offered by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India to ST students. It is provided based on annual parental income from all sources for the previous financial year.
