IIIT Lucknow offers spacious and newly designed hostel rooms equipped with necessary furniture such as beds, tables, chairs, lamps, and almirahs. Rooms are well-ventilated, and each floor has two washrooms. First and second-year students are allocated double occupancy rooms, while from the third year onwards, single rooms are provided. However, three-seater rooms are more common, with some dormitories accommodating 4 to 10 students. Hostels feature 24/7 electricity, water supply, and Wi-Fi, with some rooms having LAN connections.

The hostel fee is approximately INR 4800 per semester. There are currently three boys' hostels and one girls' hostel, with additional hostels under construction. The mess provides four meals per day, offering both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, though the food quality varies with some praising it and others considering it average. Special meals are served monthly. Hostel registration involves filling out a form, and rooms are generally allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

No PG options are provided by the institute, but there are affordable nearby rental options. The hostel maintains a friendly atmosphere with supportive staff and wardens.
