IIIT Lucknow Courses Admissions 2024: Cutoff(Out), Eligibility, Application Process

The institute offers a 4 years long B.Tech program in 3 different specializations namely, Information Technology, Computer Science and Computer Science & Artificial Intelligence. The institute has a total intake of 80 students in each specialization. Admission are offered through JoSAA/CSAB counselling on the basis of JEE Main rank.

IIIT Lucknow B.Tech Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates applying to the B.Tech course should have passed Class 12th or any equivalent examination with Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/ Biotechnology or Biology as compulsory subjects and with minimum aggregate marks of 45% (40% for reserved category) from a recognized board.

IIIT Lucknow B.Tech Selection Criteria 

• Admission to the course is done on the basis of marks secured in JEE Main followed by the JoSAA/ CSAB counselling procedure. 
• After appearing for the JEE Main exam, candidates have to choose IIIT L as their institution of choice.

IIIT Lucknow B.Tech Cutoff 2023 (Expected)

IIIT Lucknow admission to BTech program is based on JEE Main cut off. The cutoff will be released by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA). How to Apply for JEE Main 2023? 

Candidates who are eligible for admission have to take the JEE Main. The application process is given below:

• Visit the official website of JEE- Main
• Register for the online application form
• Make a note of the system-generated application number
• Create a password
• Log in again and fill out the form
• Upload scanned images of photographs and signature
• A fee of 650 INR (325 INR for reserved categories) will be charged/ It is to be paid through Debit card, Credit card, Net banking, UPI or Paytm.
• Keep a printout of the application form for future use.

For JOSAA Counseling

Candidates who have a positive JEE Main score have to go for JoSAA counselling. Follow these steps to register:

• Click on the registration page at the official JoSAA website.
• Use the JEE Main application number to log in.
• Ensure that your candidate profile is accurate. 
• Click on ‘Submit changes’.
• Fill out your preferred colleges and specializations according to the list of available options.
• Lock the selected choices by clicking on ‘I agree to lock my choices’.
• Keep a printout of the page for future reference.

Apart from B.Tech courses, IIIT Allahabad offers M.Tech in two specializations namely, Computer Science and Computer Science & Artificial Intelligence. Data Science and Artificial Intelligence. M.Tech is offered on a full-time basis for a duration of 2 Years. Candidates are required to appear in the GATE entrance examination in order to get admission to the course.

IIIT Lucknow GATE Cutoff 2023 (Expected)

IIIT Lucknow M.Tech Eligibility Criteria 

• Candidates having a Bachelor’s degree in Technology or equivalent in an appropriate area with Minimum 75% or Equivalent CGPI, in B.Tech.
• Apart from this candidates are also required to have secured First Division in 10th & 12.

IIIT Lucknow M.Tech Selection Criteria

• Candidates having a valid score in GATE will be shortlisted for admission to the M.Tech program at IIIT Lucknow.
• Shortlisted candidates will be called for a written exam by email. Candidates will have to come to the Institute for the interview process.
• The results of the interview will be declared the same day. Waitlisted candidates will be offered the seat if any seat remains vacant due to the non-payment of fees.

How to Apply for GATE?

Those who are eligible for admission have to take the GATE. The registration process for it is given below:

• Visit the official website
• Register through the link by entering the candidate’s name, email ID and mobile number.
• After the form is submitted, an enrollment ID will be sent to the candidate’s mobile number.
• Fill out the application form.
• A fee of 1,500 INR (750 INR for women and reserved categories) will be charged. It is to be paid online.
• Download the form and keep a printout for future reference.

CCMT Counselling

Candidates who take the GATE will have to go for CCMT counselling. To apply, follow the given steps:

• Register at the official website.
• Fill out the application form.
• Pay the registration fee of 2,200 INR (1,700 INR for reserved categories).
• Click on “I agree”.
• Start entering your choices. When it is done, lock the choices.
• Submit the application and keep a printout.

IIIT Lucknow offers a 2 years long MBA program in Digital Business via online mode with a batch of evening classes. Admissions to the program are offered on the basis of a personal interview conducted by the institute. IIIT Lucknow charges a fee of INR 1.51 Lakhs for its MBA program. 

IIIT Lucknow MBA (Digital Business) Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates seeking admission to the MBA program are required to have completed their graduation in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks or 5.5 CGPA in aggregate. 
• Also, they must have scored a minimum of 50% marks in 10th and 12th examinations. 

IIIT Lucknow MBA (Digital Business) Selection Criteria

• Selection to the program is done on the basis of online personal interview via email.
• Results of the PI rounds will be declared after the two weeks of conduction.
