Shri Ramswaroop Memorial University (SRMU), Lucknow Admission 2024: Admission form, Eligibility

SRM University offers B.A, B.Arch, B.Sc., B.Tech, B. Com, BBA, and LLB degree courses at the undergraduate level. To apply for B.Tech. & B.Sc. courses, candidates must have passed Class XII or equivalent exam from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and/or Biology as subjects with minimum 45% marks.

While candidates must have passed Class XII in Science or Commerce with Maths or Statistics with minimum 50% + with minimum 80 marks in NATA to be eligible for B.Arch program. For LLB program, candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in any subject with at least 50% marks. For all the other courses, candidates must have passed Class XII or equivalent exam from a recognized board with minimum 45% marks.

Admission to the B.Tech program will be done on the basis of the marks scored in JEE Main/UPSEE while for B. Arch Program admission will be on the basis of NATA Score. Admission to all the other undergraduate courses is done on the basis of marks scored in Class XII.

• For BBA and LLB courses, candidates should have English as a compulsory subject in 10+2.
• Candidates applying for B.Tech program should have appeared in JEE Main or UPSEE.
• Those seeking admission in the 1st year of Degree Programme leading to honours will have to pass the Class XII with a minimum of 65% marks.

SRM University offers MA, M.Tech, M.Sc., MCA, MBA, LL.M. and Master of Social Work degree courses at the postgraduate level. Candidates applying for postgraduate degree program must have graduation/bachelor’s degree in the relevant subjects or an equivalent qualification with a minimum aggregate of 50% or equivalent CGPA to be eligible to apply for the postgraduate degree program.

For M.Tech, M.Sc and MCA program, candidates must have Bachelor’s degree in B.E./B.Tech, B.Sc. and BCA respectively. Admission to M.Tech program is done on the basis of the marks scored in GATE and Personal Interview. Admission to MBA program is done on the basis of CAT/MAT/XAT/ATMA/CMAT percentile.

Admission to all the other postgraduate courses is done on the basis of marks scored in the Qualifying examination and Personal Interview conducted by the university.

• Final year graduate students can also apply.

SRM University offers B.Tech + M.Tech dual degree course in 7 specializations, B.Tech + MBA dual degree course in 5 specializations, BA LLB, B. Com LLB and BBA LLB degree course.

Candidates applying for B.Tech + M.Tech and B.Tech + MBA dual degree program must have at least cleared his/her 12th class with Physics, Chemistry Mathematics and/or Biology as mandatory subjects with minimum marks of 45% or 5.0 CGPA.

Key Points:

• Candidates applying for LLB dual degree program must have passed 10+2 or equivalent system from any recognized Central/State Board in any discipline.
• Admission to all the dual degree courses is done on the basis of marks scored in the Qualifying examination and Personal Interview conducted by the university.
• All SC/ST candidates are eligible for the relaxation of 5%.

Shri Ramswaroop Memorial University also offers Diploma courses in various fields.

Candidates must have passed Class X or equivalent exam from a recognized board with minimum 45% marks in aggregate to be eligible to apply for Diploma Courses.

Selection is done on the basis of the marks in the qualifying examination. The merit list is prepared for all categories based on applicant’s marks at graduation.

SRMU also offers PhD and M.Phil courses. To be eligible to apply for PhD and M.Phil degree, candidates must have a master’s degree in the relevant subject(s) with a minimum aggregate of 60% or equivalent CGPA.

Candidates will be called in for a Research Aptitude Test and Personal Interview conducted by the university. Based on the applicants’ performance in this test, they will be selected for the program.

• Candidates who have cleared the M.Phil coursework in the University with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade 'B' and successfully completing M.Phil degree/M.Phil dissertation has been evaluated and the viva voce is pending will be eligible to proceed to do research work leading to the PhD Degree in the University.
