Established in 2012, Reva University is a Private institution. It offers Regular and Lateral programs in B.Tech under 13 specializations (Regular program) and 9 specializations (Lateral program). The duration of the regular program is 4 years and that of the lateral program is 3 years. Each year in both the programs is divided into 2 semesters.

To be eligible to take admission in the regular program the candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination. For the lateral entry, the candidate must have passed Diploma examination/ B.Sc degree in relevant discipline. 

The selection to the regular program is Entrance Based i.e. REVA EET/JEE (Main)/JEE (Advanced)/ Karnataka CET/ COMED-K. 

Reva University B.Tech Eligibility Criteria

For getting admission into the following programmes of B.Tech the candidates should fulfill the following eligibility criteria:

For Regular program:

• The candidates willing to take admission into this program must have passed the 10+2 or equivalent examination in science stream from a recognised board along with one of Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Computer Science / Electronics / Technical Vocational subjects and at least 45% aggregate marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to SC/ST category).
• Good score in Reva University Engineering Entrance Test REVA EET/JEE Main/JEE (Advanced)/Karnataka CET/COMED-K or any other equivalent examination conducted by recognized institute / agency.

For Lateral Entry:

• The candidate must have passed Diploma examination from an AICTE approved institution with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to SC / ST category) in relevant discipline. OR
• The candidate must have passed B.Sc. Degree from a recognized University as defined by UGC, with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category) and passed XII standard with mathematics as a subject.

The admissions to B.Tech course in this university can be done through online and offline mode. The selection criteria for the regular program is entrance based and for lateral entry, the criteria is merit based.
