SNDT Women’s University is an all women university which offers undergraduate, postgraduate and research courses in a variety of fields. Students who don't want to join regular college can also opt for various Distance courses offered by University under its department of Distance Education.

The admissions to B.Tech courses offered by SNDT Women’s University (SNDTWU) will be done through the entrance exam MHT-CET. Students interested to apply for this course can visit the official website of SNDTWU. Students can check the specialization specific eligibility given as under:

Note: The University offers direct admission to B.Tech Lateral Entry Programme.
Candidates can apply for admissions to a plethora of UG courses offered by SNDTWU. Admissions to most of the courses are based on a merit list published by the university. For some of the courses students have to appear for the MHT-CET .

Note: Physically challenged candidates can also apply for B.S.Ed (Special Education) or M.S.Ed. which is a special course offered by SNDTWU dedicated to candidates with special needs.
Candidates can apply for Master's courses such as MCA and MBA offered by the University. Interested candidates will have to appear for the MHT-CET exam (or any other national level entrance exam) to qualify for these courses.

Master's degree in the subject with 55% marks (50% for reserved candidates) from any recognized university in the country. Candidates who have cleared NET/ SET/ GATE/ JRF examinations are exempted from appearing for the written test. They will be required to appear for the personal interview. |
Candidates will have to download and fill up the application form from the university website. Fee for the application form will be INR 500 (INR 350 for reserved candidates). Candidates then will be required to appear for an entrance test conducted by the university. The entrance test will have two parts: 1. Research and Aptitude 2. Subject Specific Test. Those who obtain a minimum of 50% marks (45% in case of reserved candidates) will be invited for personal interviews. During the PI, candidates will be expected to make a presentation in front of a panel of experts. Candidates will be selected for admission on the basis of merit and available seats. The result validity for the entrance test will be 3 years. |
