SNDT Women’s University is an all women university which offers undergraduate, postgraduate and research courses in a variety of fields. Students who don't want to join regular college can also opt for various Distance courses offered by University under its department of Distance Education.

Admissions to the university has not been announced officially. But, looking at the trend from last year. Admissions should start from the month of June.
Admissions to most of the courses will be merit based i.e. based on the marks obtained by the students in the qualifying exam.
For some of the courses the students will have to appear for MHT-CET (Maharashtra Health and Technical Common Entrance Test).

SNDT Women's University B.Tech. Admission 2023

The admissions to B.Tech courses offered by SNDT Women’s University (SNDTWU) will be done through the entrance exam MHT-CET. Students interested to apply for this course can visit the official website of SNDTWU. Students can check the specialization specific eligibility given as under:

B.Tech.	Computer Science, Electronics, Electronics and Telecommunication, Information Technology	Candidate must have passed the Higher Secondary Certificate (Standard XII) examination with English. All of the following subjects: Physics and Mathematics. And Any one of the following subjects: Chemistry, Biology, Bio - Technology or Computer Science. Securing minimum of 50% marks (45% for Backward class candidates)
B.Tech Lateral Entry		A candidate who has passed the Diploma examination in First Class in a specific branch of Engineering/Technology conducted by the Board of Technical Examination, Maharashtra State, or an examination from any other Technical Board recognized as equivalent.

Note: The University offers direct admission to B.Tech Lateral Entry Programme.

SNDT Women's University UG Admission 2023

Candidates can apply for admissions to a plethora of UG courses offered by SNDTWU. Admissions to most of the courses are based on a merit list published by the university. For some of the courses students have to appear for the MHT-CET .

B.Sc.	Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology	Same as the eligibility criteria mentioned above. In addition to that: Candidates should have also studied any four science subjects.	Merit based.
B.Sc. IT (Information Technology)		Same as the eligibility criteria mentioned above. In addition to that: Candidates should have also studied any four science subjects. If a candidate has not studied Mathematics at 12^th Std. They are needed to take a bridge course in Math and pass in a university test before the Semester I examination.	Merit based.
BCA		Candidates should have passed the Higher Secondary Certificate examination with 45% marks (40% for Reserved categories).	Merit based.
B.Lib.I.Sc. (Bachelor of Library and Information Science)		Graduates from any university in the country or any other examination recognized by the University.	Merit based.
LL.B.		Any degree in any faculty from a recognized University or equivalent with minimum 45% marks. (40% for SC/ST category).	Merit based.
BBA-LL.B.		Candidates should have passed the Higher Secondary Certificate Examination or equivalent with 45 % marks. (40% for Reserved category)	Merit based.
B.Pharm.		Candidates should have passed the Higher Secondary Certificate examination with 50% marks (45% in case of Reserved categories) in the subjects Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Math combined. Candidates should have a non-zero score at MHT-CET.	Selection will be based on the scores obtained in MHT-CET exam.
B.Sc. Nursing		Passed Higher Secondary Certificate Examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English in the first attempt with minimum 50% marks. 17 years of age on or before 31^st December on the year of admission. Candidates will have to clear an entrance test.	Merit based on the entrance test conducted by the University.

SNDT Women's University B.Ed And M.Ed Admission 2023

SNDTWU also offered B.Ed. and M.Ed. courses for interested candidates. For both these courses students will have to appear for the MHT-CET exam.

B.Ed.	Candidates with either a Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Science, Social science or Humanity with minimum of 50% marks. Candidates with a Bachelor's in Engineering or Technology with minimum 55% marks or any other equivalent qualification.	Merit based on the MHT-CET examination.
M.Ed.	At least 50% marks on any of the following degrees or equivalent: B.Ed B.A-B.Ed. (Bachelor of Arts Bachelor of Education Integrated course), B.Sc-B.Ed (Bachelor of Science Bachelor of Education Integrated course). B.El.Ed (Bachelor of Elementary Education). D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education) with an UG degree (with 50% marks)	Based on the MHT-CET examination.

Note: Physically challenged candidates can also apply for B.S.Ed (Special Education) or M.S.Ed. which is a special course offered by SNDTWU dedicated to candidates with special needs.

SNDT Women's University MBA & MCA Admission 2023

Candidates can apply for Master's courses such as MCA and MBA offered by the University. Interested candidates will have to appear for the MHT-CET exam (or any other national level entrance exam) to qualify for these courses.

SNDTWU offers M.Tech. and M.Sc. PG courses for eligible candidates. Admission to M.Sc. courses are merit based, while students will have to appear for MHT-CET exam to qualify for M.Tech. courses.

M.Sc. Computer Science	Graduate in B.Sc. (Physics, Mathematics, Electronics, IT, Computer Science) or BCA or any engineering graduate from a recognized university with no less than 50% marks. (45% in case of Reserved categories)	Merit based.

SNDT Women's University Ph.D & M.Phil Admission 2023

SNDTWU also has research courses for advance studies. Interested candidates can download the application form online from the university website.

Course Name	Eligibility	Selection Process
Ph.D. and M.Phil courses	Master's degree in the subject with 55% marks (50% for reserved candidates) from any recognized university in the country. Candidates who have cleared NET/ SET/ GATE/ JRF examinations are exempted from appearing for the written test. They will be required to appear for the personal interview.	Candidates will have to download and fill up the application form from the university website. Fee for the application form will be INR 500 (INR 350 for reserved candidates). Candidates then will be required to appear for an entrance test conducted by the university. The entrance test will have two parts: 1. Research and Aptitude 2. Subject Specific Test. Those who obtain a minimum of 50% marks (45% in case of reserved candidates) will be invited for personal interviews. During the PI, candidates will be expected to make a presentation in front of a panel of experts. Candidates will be selected for admission on the basis of merit and available seats. The result validity for the entrance test will be 3 years.

SNDT Women'S University Distance Education Admission 2023

For students who do not want to pursue a regular college degree, SNDTWU also has various Distance Education courses that they can apply for. Students can choose from a variety of UG and PG courses available.
