IIM Kashipur Ph.D admission process includes the following stages:

  • Stage 1: Application submission with the stipulated period of time.
  • Stage 2: Shortlisting of the candidates based on their applications submitted. The applications of the candidates are analyzed based on the cut-off set by the institute and past academic records.
  • Stage 3: The shortlisted candidates are then called for the Personal Interview rounds where the panel judges the candidate on the basis of their academic preparation for the applied area. 
  • Stage 4: After all the rounds are complete. The admission committee prepares the final list of candidates for admission.

However, the candidates who have done/completed their PGDM from one of the IIMs with a CGPA of 7 on a 10 point scale/3.0 on a 4.0 point scale or equivalent, are exempted from the first-year course. They will be given admission directly to the second year thus an exemption from CIS/ Summer Internship.
