At the undergraduate level, Era University provides Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) programme to the aspiring candidates who want to pursue their career in the field of Engineering. The course is offered for four years.  Apart from B.Tech (Biotechnology), to get admission in rest of the courses candidates need to have a 10+2 level or equivalent degree with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as main subjects with a minimum 60% marks in aggregate, to be considered eligible for the concerned course.

The admission in all of the specializations in B.Tech programme except the Biotechnology is done on the basis of rank secured in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main).  

Candidates seeking admission in B.Tech (Biotechnology) will be selected based on the marks scored in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in 10 + 2 level exam.

At the UG level, the university offers a cluster of UG courses in the fields of Arts, Science, Commerce, Business Administration, Computer Application and Hotel Management under multiple specializations. Duration of all the Undergraduate programmes is three years.

Candidates must need to hold a 10+2 level degree to get admission in the concerned courses offered by the institute to accomplish the eligibility criteria for UG programmes. Few of the courses demand PCB/PCM in 10+2 level examination. The candidates seeking admission in Information Technology under B.Sc programme need to hold 10 + 2/ Equivalent from a recognized Board / Institution in any stream with minimum 50%.

For admission to  B.Com and B.Sc, candidates have to go through a personal interview round after being shortlisted in the merit round. The authority of the university conducts the whole admission procedure. Candidates seeking admission in rest of the courses in Graphic Era University will be selected according to the qualifying marks obtained by the candidates.

Graphic Era University offers Master of Technology (M.Tech) degree at postgraduate level with the duration period of two years. 

Admission to all of the specializations to the M.Tech course (except Computer Science Engg in M.tech Part Time) is done by national level The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE), an examination that primarily tests the comprehensive understanding of various undergraduate subjects in engineering and science.

Graphic Era University provides two more programmes at the postgraduate level; those are Master of Science (M.Sc) focusing on the area of Science with multiple specializations and Master of Computer Application (MCA), designed to meet the growing demand for qualified professionals in the field of Information Technology (computer software). The M.Sc programme is of two years while the duration of MCA is three years.

Candidates must need to hold a B.Sc degree from a recognized university to fulfill the eligibility criteria of Biotechnology and Microbiology. Applicants interested in Information Technology need to hold a graduation degree in relevant discipline for appealing in the concerned course. Aspiring candidates for MCA need to have a graduation degree in any stream with Maths at (10+2) level or at Graduation level, are considered eligible to get admission in MCA programme.

The admission in M.Sc programme will be based on merit. The admission in MCA programme is done as per the marks obtained in UPTU-SEE/ UTU-SEE/ Qualifying Exam.

Graphic Era University alos offers Master of Hotel Management (MHM) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a duration of two years in each.

Candidates need to hold graduation or equivalent degree from a recognized University or College can be eligible for the concerned programmes. Only the eligible candidates can apply for the relevant courses.

The applicants seeking admission in MHM programme will be required to appear for an entrance test followed by interview and counseling before admission in the concerned course. Candidates searching for admission in MBA programme will be admitted by merit list prepared on the basis of CAT/MAT/XAT score followed by Group Discussion and Personal Interview.

At the doctoral level, the university offers Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) programme under multiple specializations.

Candidates need to hold a Master’s Degree from any AIU/UGC/AICTE recognized University/ Institutions with minimum of 55% marks or CGPA of 5.5 on a 10 point scale in the qualifying examination or any other qualification recognized as equivalent thereto in the fields of study notified from time to time by the University, to be eligible for the concerned course.

Admissions in Ph.D programme is made on the basis of GATE/NET/SLET scores or written test followed by an interview by the Department concerned. Applications for admission to Ph.D programmes in various departments of our university will be invited in the month of May/June of the current year.

Note: There is a 5% marks relaxation for the candidates belonging to SC/ST to be eligible for the concerned course.
