For all the UG courses those candidates who have done 10+2 in relevant disciplines are eligible to apply.
For all the PG courses those candidates who have done 3 year UG course in the respective discipline are eligible to apply.
For B.P.Ed, the candidate should have done UG with Physical Education as a major subject, for LLB those candidates who have done graduation with not less than 45%in aggregate (40% marks in case of SC and ST category candidates) are eligible to apply.
For M.P.Ed, those candidates who have done B.P.Ed or equivalent with at least 50% is eligible to apply. For LLM those candidates who have done an LL.B./Five-Year Integrated LL.B. /any other equivalent degree from a recognized University with not less than 55%in aggregate (50% marks in case of SC and ST category candidates).
For M.Ed the candidate should have done B.Ed/BA-B.Ed/B.Sc-B.Ed with 50% marks (45% for SC/ST). For M.Lib the candidate should have done graduation in B.Lib-ISc.
Selection in each course is done on the basis of an entrance exam. The entrance exam will be of 200 marks and of 2 hours duration. For M.PEd, B.PEd, B. Music, M.Music, BFA, MFA candidates will have to sit for practical test of 100 marks. Final merit will be made considering marks in the practical test.
Reservation of 21%,2% and 27% are given to SC, ST and OBC respectively. Horizontal reservation of 3% is provided to PWD candidates. Benefit of reservation will be provided to candidates of UP domicile only.

MGKVP UG Admission 2023

Admission to all the UG courses is done on the basis of Entrance Examination conducted by the University. All the candidates who have done Intermediate or equivalent before 2015 are not eligible to apply.

For BA, BFA course, Candidates who have passed Intermediate are eligible to apply.

Entrance examination for all the UG courses will be conducted offline on various dates. Based on the performance of the candidates in the exam merit list will be prepared and final admission will be done on the basis of this merit list only.

Admission to Professional Courses is done on the basis of Entrance Examination conducted by the University.

MGKVP Application Process 2023

Admissions to MGKVP UG and PG programs are based on the scores of the entrance exam conducted by the Institute itself. For MBA and MCA programs, admissions are based on CUET PG exam scores and counseling. For the B.Ed program, the admissions are based on UP B.ED JEE scores. Candidates seeking admission should apply online for the respective courses by visiting the University website. The UR candidates' UG application fee is INR 500, MBA application fee is INR 1500, PG/PG Diploma/Diploma application fee is INR 600.

Application Procedure

Open the student tab and click on admission in the drop-down menu.
Click on the Apply Online option.
You will be directed to entrance.mgkvpvonline.org/Login.
Register Your Details and Login.
A new website will open with examination forms for different courses.
Each UG, PG, and Diploma courses have different forms.
Click on the form and fill the entry form.
Upload the picture and signature.
Take the printout of the form and keep it for future use.

Ans. No, once the MGKVP application form is submitted, you cannot edit or correct the application form.

Ques. What is the admission process for PG programs?

Ans. To get into a PG course at MGKVP, students would need a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks. Students have to register on the website of the university. The admission to PG programs will be done on the basis of the entrance exam conducted by the university.

Ques. How many seats are reserved for women candidates and SC/ST candidates?

Ans. In each UG & PG programme, 20% of the seats are reserved for the women candidates. 21% of the seats are reserved for SC students whereas 2% of the seats are allocated to ST students.
